... if we are completely honest. Nothing is as much fun as when we have a beginner’s mind. That is, we have no expectation on what we are to experience. We may figure out ways to make what we experience more enjoyable because of what we experienced. But that very first experience can never be had again simply because in that first experience we had no idea of what to expect. When we are just beginning or doing something for the first time, we have no idea of what we will really experience. We may have some idea but we don’t really know. This beginner’s mind allows for a different type and kind of experience to be had.
