Whether you believe you are a separate individual self or you feel there is no self separate from ‘what is’ ... there is still a life to be lived.
Whether you think you are the chooser of your choices or you sense that all happens choicelessly ... you are still required to act.
Whether you believe reality is fundamentally material or you feel consciousness is the primary foundation of reality ... you still inhabit a body and a mind.
Whether you are convinced that the universe is deterministic or you believe that the moment is purely spontaneous and uncaused ... you are still here, nevertheless, and have to confront the circumstances surrounding you.
Whether you are certain consciousness ends with the brain or you feel that it transcends to another reality ... you are still going to die.
Whether you trust life is intelligent and responsive to your hopes and desires or you think life is a random series of chance occurrences ... you will still suffer, you will still learn and you will still grow.
Philosophy is nothing more than semantics. The lenses through which life can be viewed and interpreted are infinite.
There are many ways to skin a cat.
It doesn’t matter what you believe, what you decide, what you assert or what you deny.
You always end up where you begin.
